The very first Famicom systems were made with square A and B buttons on the controllers and a smooth bottom on the console itself, instead of the regular textured one.
The square made pushing buttons too unconfortable, and the smooth bottom was easily scratchable, so they rapidly changed to the regular one with rounded buttons.
They also have a black pin adapter instead of the regular blue one. Its serial number is HVC-CPU-05.
Very sought after by collectors, they usually fetch 30.000-60.000y in auctions.
